The line appears to separate sky from something else, though Mike cautioned that separation is not the same as cooperation.
Mike Says Horizon Has Entered Report But Is Not Helpful
Mike says the horizon is now visible from the small airplane, but it remains too far away to answer basic follow-up questions.

Mike reported Saturday that the horizon has entered the report, but not in a way that improves the public's understanding of the ground.
The line became visible during a routine sky check from the left seat of Mike's small airplane, where it appeared to divide the sky from a distant lower category that Mike declined to identify beyond "the part the sky is not currently being."
"The horizon is there," Mike said. "I can confirm that. What I cannot confirm is whether it is helping."
Line Status
Mike said the horizon appeared mostly level, though he noted that aircraft attitude, window angle, and the basic arrogance of distance make any stronger claim premature.
"It looks like a line between two situations," Mike said. "But from up here, a lot of things look more organized than they have earned."
Horizon Visible, distant, withholding specifics.
Sky Above the line and still the more cooperative subject.
Below line Present in a broad sense, not ready for names.
The Sky Reports desk said the finding does not qualify as a ground report because the horizon did not bring the ground closer, clarify any addresses, or identify one useful thing it was standing in front of.
Archive Footage
Editors attempted to publish Mike's full horizon sequence so readers could see the line enter, remain, and continue not explaining itself.

Mike said the archive is long because the horizon rarely makes a complete point in under four hours.
Selected Frames
The following frames show the horizon's participation in the flight. The desk has preserved small differences in the line so readers can decide whether the horizon was trying.
Mike said he would continue monitoring the horizon during future flights, particularly if it moves closer, becomes a place, or begins answering to a name.
As always, keep flying, my little skyheads.
