Hello. My name is Sam.

Today I will explain holding a can during a holiday.

A holiday is a day that has been given a special job. Sometimes the job is remembering. Sometimes the job is eating outside. Sometimes the job is both, and there is a cooler.

On a holiday, you may wear a shirt that tells people you know what day it is. This is helpful because not every calendar is standing in the yard.

I sit in a patio chair. A patio chair is a chair that has agreed to work outside. It may be made of metal, fabric, or the idea that everyone will only sit for a little while.

In my hand is a can.

A can is a small metal room for a drink. You hold it so the drink knows where to be.

When you hold a can during a holiday, you should not grip it too tightly. The can is not trying to escape. It is just cold and full.

People may walk around with plates. Someone may ask about food. Someone may open a door. A holiday has many small departments.

Your job, while holding the can, is to remain available. You can nod. You can answer a question. You can look at the grill. You can say, "Yeah," in a way that supports the afternoon.

The can may become lighter. This means the drink is leaving through you.

At some point, the can will be empty. Then it becomes recycling, or a thing you keep holding because you have not found the right moment to stand up.

Both are common.

That is holding a can during a holiday. I hope you find your corner of the sky.
