The dentist chair moves, but it is still a chair.

Hello. My name is Sam.
Today I will explain the dentist.
The dentist is a place where adults go so someone can look at their teeth in a very official way. Teeth live in your mouth. You use them for food, smiling, and making sure popcorn has somewhere to hide.
When I get to the dentist, I sit in a chair. The chair goes back. This is surprising because most chairs do not do work after you sit in them.
Then I receive a bib.
The bib is not because I am a baby. It is because teeth are wet and the dentist has rules. The bib rests on my shirt and says, "Your shirt does not need to be part of this."
A person looks in my mouth with a little mirror. This is allowed at the dentist. If someone did it at a grocery store, it would be different.
The dentist counts my teeth. I already had them, but it is good for another person to confirm the number. That is how records stay healthy.
Sometimes the tool makes a scraping sound. The sound is not the tooth being angry. It is the tool asking the tooth to remember its responsibilities.
I keep my hands still. This is one of the jobs of the patient. The dentist has tools, the chair has buttons, and I have still hands.
At the end, they give me a small bag. Inside the bag is a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss. Floss is a string that goes between teeth to see what they have been doing.
Then I leave.
My teeth come with me.
That is the dentist. I hope you find your corner of the sky.
