The civic and cultural record.

The campaign begins with a television, a wet floor, and Craig in the central apparition role.

Craig Emerges From Television As Haunted Well Girl In New Prestige Horror

The first teaser for Craig's untitled haunted-video feature presents him as the central apparition and keeps the campaign focused on procedure.

The first teaser for my next feature has been released.

The film remains untitled. Publicity describes it as a prestige haunted-video feature. The teaser establishes the central image of the campaign: I appear inside an old television, move through the screen into a living room, and proceed across the floor as the principal apparition.

I am reporting on the release because I am also the performer in the footage.

The Campaign

Craig appears in text-free haunted-video horror poster art near a glowing television and a distant well.

The first poster treatment places me between the television and the well imagery that will appear later in the campaign. It does not include a title treatment. According to the current publicity packet, the title is being held until the next round of materials.

The marketing position is direct. The film is not treating my casting as a reveal. I am the figure in the television, the figure associated with the well, and the person expected to carry the film's visual language in the role usually reserved for a much smaller haunted presence.

The Television Sequence

The television sequence was shot on Stage 4 with practical water and a reinforced cabinet. I began behind the screen surface and moved forward through an opening built into the set. The camera tracks backward as I enter the room, which allows the shot to treat the television as both an object and an entry point.

The television shot used a practical cabinet and padded track.

The wardrobe is a pale garment over a white shirt, kept wet for continuity. My hair is wet in every approved frame. The production notes identify this as part of the character's arrival condition rather than a separate effect.

The teaser avoids dialogue. It uses television static, water, hallway space, and a slow exit from the screen. The cut ends before the film explains who I am to the household or why I have chosen this route into it.

The Role

The character is described in the press notes as a recovered image. The director's explanation is that the film is about a childhood fear returning at the size of the person currently playing it.

That is the official reading. My working version is simpler: I am the haunted-video girl in this production, and the film is proceeding from that fact without a public apology.

The well material has not been included in the teaser. Those stills are scheduled for a later publicity release. On set, the well is a separate build with a ladder, a removable side panel, and a dry holding area. The dry holding area does not appear in the film.

Release Materials

The current still package includes a remote-reach frame, which is expected to be used in the next trailer. In the shot, I move across the wet floor toward an unbranded remote control while the television remains active behind me.

The release date has not been announced. The next materials are expected to include the well, a fuller look at the hallway sequence, and a title card once the title is cleared.

For now, the campaign is asking the audience to accept the main image at face value: I come out of the television, and the movie begins from there.
