Craig Cast As Tiny Space Princess In Franchise Recalibration

I have been cast as the tiny space princess in a new science-fiction film.

The announcement arrived with one poster, two throne-room stills, and a scale memo explaining that several sets have been recalibrated around my diplomatic height. The studio is describing the role as "small in stature, central in consequence."

I am not commenting on the title yet because the title treatment is still being cleared by planets.

First Look

The main still shows me standing on a raised platform inside a large metallic throne room. I am smaller than the guards, smaller than the chair, and slightly smaller than a diplomatic urn placed near the door.

This is intentional.

The role is a captured princess from a moon kingdom that has been reduced by treaty, budget, or ancient light. The script has used all three explanations at different stages. Current publicity emphasizes treaty.

I wear a silver cloak, soft boots, and a belt designed to make pockets look ceremonial.

The guards are generic, tall, and patient. Their helmets have no visible marks because the production is avoiding comparisons to other space governments.

Set Adjustments

The throne room had to be rebuilt after the first camera test made me appear normal-sized in a large room, which weakened the premise. Production lowered the platform, widened the chair, and added a ceremonial cup large enough to clarify scale without becoming a joke prop.

Director Sel Prenn said the goal is "royal vulnerability with adult steadiness."

I asked whether the princess is supposed to be young.

Prenn said the princess is "small politically."

This is now the official answer.

Scene Work

In the first scene, I refuse to surrender my diplomatic baggage to the guards. The baggage contains no secret map. This frustrates the guards because they were prepared for a map.

In the second scene, I stand on the throne and address a projection of the moon kingdom. The projection is larger than I am. The crew placed a small apple box under the cloak for safety.

In the third scene, I crawl through a ventilation passage that had to be widened after costume rehearsal. This has been described in the press materials as "strategic scale correction."

Campaign

The poster will show the throne room from above, with me centered on the platform and the guards forming a circle. I have seen a rough version. It is serious and does not explain why the princess is me.

That is the correct approach.

The film asks the audience to accept the casting and then move on to the treaty dispute, which is complicated and mostly delivered near glowing doors.

I am ready for that.
